The Internet of the 2010s promised connection. By the 2020s, it had become a slot machine: infinite scroll, disguised ads, and engagement hooks designed to trap your thumb. We called this the Ad-Trap Era. Every feed was a funnel. Every click was a conversion.

ICHMICH was built as a response. We don't hide our ads in "Recommended" blocks or fake buttons. On this platform, ads are clearly labeled in Purple Status Boxes. They do not shift the layout when they load. They do not trick your thumb.

We use a strict tier system: SS, S, A, B, C, D. Posts are ranked by real engagement, not a "black box" algorithm. Channels are ranked by velocity, retention, and volume. This is a digital archive where the community decides what is worth saving, and the Engine surfaces it without the noise. You aren't entering a trap. You're entering a system built for high-velocity media, with a soul.

The Tier system logic is straightforward. SS-Tier is reserved for posts that cross a high score threshold—community-vetted, high-signal media that has survived the "Fresh" gauntlet. Channels earn their rank based on a weighted average of daily velocity, user retention, and total volume.

This isn't a black box. We don't hide the math. ichmich is a digital archive with editorialized context: the community decides what is worth seeing, and the engine surfaces it without gaming the scroll.
